Workshop 1: The Remix – Rewind Selecta

Workshop Framework:

How Do You Feel About Art and How Does It Make Sense to You

Materials:

  1. Low-res photos of artworks that they would use to glue/paste onto manila paper (Like a mock-up of their version of Close)
  2. Manila paper
  3. Glue/Masking tape
  4. Rulers
  5. Colourful pens or coloured pencils
  6. Markers
  7. Round stickers
  8. Standby printer to include artworks from the students’ choice

Concept/Theme: Make your own exhibition

Target Audience: Grade 8-10 (this is a younger crowd so the emphasis would be on building confidence even for a moment in decision-making processes to support a sense of exploration and idea-generation, rather than something fixed)
